Fire & Ice

He had half a smile for every girl, but for her the grin was whole,

And though he despised all she was, to her belonged his soul.

The thin thin line that seperates, so often can be crossed,
For passion fuels both love and hate, and neither can be lost.
And whenever flames began to build she could cool him with a look,
And whenever ice began to form his warm embrace was all it took.
For love and hate and fire and ice are really all the same.
It’s good and evil, right and wrong, a ying requires yang.
Two sides upon a single coin, two halves which made a whole,

Two people who had found a mate to balance out their soul.
